Best Contour Palette for Fair and Sensitive Skin
I am so glad I found this product; the money I could have saved if I found it sooner. I spend up to $50 for other name brand foundations/cc creams etc. to just get disappointed.I am a lazy person and with this palette, all I have to do is prime my skin and then use the palette. I get great coverage with a light weight feel. Instructions are provided and easy to follow, the application is simple. The product goes on smoothly and feels like a second skin on your skin while providing enough coverage!!

An Acceptable Beginning Contour Kit
I bought this product as a beginning contour kit. I would say I’m reasonably experienced in the basics of makeup (foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, concealer, lipstick) but have recently felt the urge to delve deeper into its many facets. Among these are the infamous contouring and highlighting. I originally watched a video review of both this kit and the IT Cosmetics kit: cream vs. powder, less contrasting vs. more contrasting colors, different packaging, etc. After a lot of pros and cons, I decided to go with this one, as the colors seemed to apply well, it is compact, and it offers more shades that are closer to my own skin tone (fair/light).I was initially disappointed upon receiving this product. It arrived covered in a thin layer of bubble wrap inside of an envelope, whereas I had expected it to arrive nicely packaged and boxed up. Furthermore, because of the close proximity of the product and its packaging, the warm weather of that day heated it up and upon opening the contour kit, some of the cream on the top had melted and turned into a liquid film.You can imagine that I was NOT a happy camper.However, the cream did work fairly well (after everything cooled off and dried). You have to layer a bit, and I consider that a plus since I’m a beginner and less is more. The shades apply with more of an orange tone than I would prefer, particularly with my skin since anything that deviates even a bit from normal shows up more on light tones. I have not experienced any breakouts from the product.The packaging of the actual product, in contrast to its arrival state, is quite nice; it comes inside a cardboard slip along with a packet that tells you how to contour and highlight different areas of your face as well as offers diagrams for a visual aid in how to contour and highlight various face shapes. Upon opening the actual cream kit, there is another (transparent plastic) diagram of a woman’s face with marks indicating general areas where one would contour and highlight.Overall, I think that this is an acceptable beginning contour kit. The cream is of good quality, does not wear off over the course of the day, and layers well. The shades are versatile. The fact that they comes off orange may only be the result of my skin type (I have the same problem with drugstore foundations). I am deducting a star mainly because of the state in which this product arrived, and I hope that this will not happen to other people.

I like the powder palette more
I wanted to love this contour palette because I have the powder version and I have been using that for a few months now and it is great! So maybe my expectations were a tad bit high for this. But I did experience both positive and negative things with this palette. Something I enjoyed is the look of the product; the palette itself looks nice and sleek and I like having it in my makeup collection. Another positive is that it comes with instructions on how to apply the different shades. My first issue with this is that the contour shades in the palette I received were not as creamy or as easy to apply as the lighter shades were. They seemed a little bit dry which made blending pretty difficult for me. I did not experience this with the lighter shades though I did have an issue with those too but my issue with the lighter shades probably won’t be an issue for that many people. They are not light enough for me. I am very pale and the highlighting shades didn’t do any highlighting for me. They were very creamy and easy to blend but I didn’t get any benefit out of using them. Once they were blended in it was as if I didn’t even apply anything. I have been trying to use this product over this past week to see if I can get some of the shades to apply any easier. One thing I did find is to not use this on top of matte foundation; this made it so much more difficult to apply and looked awful on me.

Nice starter set
I am just getting into contouring. This was a great starter set to start trying them out. I wish the highlight was a bit more shimmery. All shades are lightweight and blend really well.

I have very reactive skin and most eye shadows and contouring palettes give me rashes and swollen eyes. This beautiful product does not. This is my second purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone, but especially if your skin is sensitive and if you suffer from Rosacea or other skin issues. It gives great coverage without being heavy or cakey, it’s smooth and easy to apply. This compact is all I need when travelling too. I just add in my brow pencil, mascara and eyeliner and I’m done.Cant recommend it highly enough. I truly love it!

Confesso che il countouring è ancora un campo poco esplorato per me, ma ho trovato questo prodotto molto performante. I colori sono vivi e mantengono la tonalità sulla pelle, non ungono e durano tutta la giornata. Altro particolare non trascurabile: sono cruelty free al 100%.
