    Beautiful Light Coverage
For the girl who does not LOVE heavy makeup / a more natural look, this is a great product to buy! It is easy to use (pump onto face or a brush and easy to blend) and it blends so easily! It’s lightweight, looks so dewy and smooth on skin, and gives your face a beautiful finish that you can either build on or leave. I don’t love a lot of makeup but this has been a regular in my routine lately!

    Absolutely Beautiful on skin
I am not a heavy makeup girly. I was skeptical to try but saw a video on YouTube and it looked like it would work.I am So happy that I tried it. I used a brush to apply and one coat covered so nicely. It leaves a sort of dewy look, one coat was to my preference but I can see how it is buildable for more coverage.I have mature, dryer skin as I’ve aged so I used good skincare before applying. I added just the lightest touch of face powder applied with a soft brush afterwards and I’m good to go!I am happy that I revisited Covergirl (my first experience was many years ago). They have stepped up their game for sure.

Looks great on 81 year old Mama!
I bought this for my Mama and it looks very nice on her skin. It’s light and sheer. Doesn’t enhance her wrinkles. She gave it 4 stars only because she wanted more coverage, but it looks way better than other foundations that sink into her 81 year old lines!

    Strange application
Classic ivory shade was perfect and it provided great lasting coverage once blended…. BUT application and blending is challenging and takes more time than I care to devote in my daily routine. The foundation itself seems to be an oil based product in water, so of course blending does not go well. I can understand why product seems to be discontinued.

    PERFECT for mature, DRY skin
I have very dry skin with fine lines. This is the first and only foundation that blurs my lines and leaves my skin with a dewy glow. Yes, I understand the application is thin and watery, BUT you have to rub the foundation well with your fingers to break up the microbeads and apply. Keep note, that you have to layer it if you want medium to heavy coverage. In addition, a good primer is a must to work well with this product in my opinion. I think all of the negative reviews are coming from folks who do not have dry skin or lines. I hope Covergirl does not discontinue this product based on reviews from individuals with oily or combination skin. It really is a game changer for gals with dry skin and fine lines. Thank you Covergirl for creating this foundation and thank you Angie from Hot and Flashy for recommending this product. ❤️

    Different but I like it!
Yes, this foundation is quite different than anything I’ve used before, and I’ve tried a LOT of different brands. I was leery about getting it, due to some of the negative comments, but the price wasn’t bad and I really wanted to see what this unique formula was like.First off, I have a hard time finding a good color, but this one (Fair #20) worked well for me. I’m a natural redhead with pale freckly skin, and have a hard time with finding a good color; I either end up with something way too pale that washes me out, or a color that’s too orangey or pinkish. I like this color as it’s not too light and is also fairly neutral. As for the application, yes, it’s a bit different in that you have to break the ‘spheres’ apart before applying; but it was fairly easy to put some on my hand and then mix it with my finger before I applied it. It went on very smoothly and doesn’t look/feel greasy, although I will say the coverage is much more sheer than I anticipated. I generally like a more medium coverage, but this actually worked well; the coverage wasn’t bad.I also liked that it didn’t settle into my wrinkles, which is important since I’m in my late 60’s and my skin tends to be dry with a few wrinkles. Others had mentioned that it caused irritation of their skin, but although I have very sensitive skin, it didn’t bother me at all. This is one of the better foundations I’ve ever tried, and as long as the price stays around the same, I’ll definitely be buying it again.

    Beautiful for mature skin.
I saw someone on Tiktok recommend this for more mature skin… Light coverage, super hydrating…. it is now my go to foundation. Love it.

I want to start but stating that this is not for the full coverage girlies!! This is for the those who want to enhance their skin tone without the look and feel of regular foundation or even tinted moisturizer.I love how this product incorporates skin care and make-up in one. I feel so much better putting face make-up on when there are added benefits mixed in. The initial consistency right out of the pump might be a bit off putting to some people but once you start to blend it, it mixes together quite nicely! (have a look at the pictures I included) When you use it you will think “no way is this going to look good” but it turns out beautifully! This is a tint with minimal coverage. It enhances and evens your skin tone. I truly feel like I am wearing nothing on my face. I like the finish and feel. When compared to other tinted moisturizers, this one is immensely better in my opinion. It is not thick, or creamy. It has more of a gel, hydrating feel.I highly recommend this if you want to wear a little something to make your skin look more awake and healthy. It is great for that no make-up, make-up, clean girl look.

Great coverage with a dewy finish on my skin. I suggest using a brush, my fingers could not mix it well enough.

I have golden olive light-medium, however when I tan properly (weather is not sunny enough), I am medium/tan. I was afraid with the skin range, it seemed finding the right match impossible. Glad I went with Medium 40, it matches nicely! I am aware that this match is my winter match, it may not match me soon because I tan so quickly. I have a horrible experience with foundations, it what pulled me off out of makeup for a long time. Finding your foundation is a very personnal experience, everyone reacts differently to formulas. The foundation is buildable, covers imperfection beautifully, giving your skin but better. It does not look like you are wearing foundation, you don’t feel it. Watery, you need to insure to blend it perfectly and to layer it uniformely to not be streaky. Blend and tap, I used my fingers as tool, do not like brush or sponge.I have slightly oily skin. I have tested both with and without setting powder (Charlotte tilbury airbrush powder), it honestly don’t make much of a difference, except at extending the makeup duration… Still looks gorgeous through the day. I think a ”glue” primer (eg: smashbox photo primer) is what gonna make the difference with this foundation, it will give a better base to stick throughout the day. This reminds me of Chantecaille future skin, except for it bing a more lightweight, watery (not creamy), more glowy foundation version… Obviously, with a huge price tag difference! I cannot compare to Chanel Les Beiges, never bought as it is heavily fragranced… my skin can be sensitive. All and all, I love this foundation. Hope for shade range expansion.P-S: It has a small dose of bakuchiol, be careful with your glycolic acids. Given it is not a very strong photosensitive as retinol, i do not know why they put an AHA ingredient in a foundation because after you have your sunscreen, how does your skin reaps the benefits of bakuchiol?
