Since I started using various e.l.f. products to cut costs, I decided to try the Daily Cleanser to see how it stacks up to my current cleanser that is almost empty. My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as âcombinationâ skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so thereâs no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as âwaterproofâ so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesnât feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. Itâs hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I’m used to (both of which are good). I guess it depends on your type of skin, the condition of your skin when you start off using the product, and what youâre accustomed to.Overall, you canât beat the $6 price tag for a facial cleanser that is gentle on your skin, actually cleans and removes dirt/oil & makeup, and also hydrates. Of course, this is only one step in your skincare process and not the only step in the process. If you have dry skin youâll need to followup up with your daily moisturizer and if you have very oily skin to use an astringent/toner before moving forward. Iâm relatively new to using e.l.f. skincare products, but I am impressed with what theyâve accomplished quality wise while keeping their products at an affordable price point for all of us. 5 Stars!!!P.S. The product is 100% âcruelty freeâ.

Gentle Face Cleanser/Great for my sensitive skin
This is a gentle face cleanser. Not harsh. Just a dime size amount with a little water and I use a buff pad to gently scrub my face (as I have sensitive skin) and wash off with water and a wash cloth. My face feels so clean and it does not cause dryness and leaves my face looking fresh. I am so impressed with ELF products!

Excellent at washing away makeup
I’m a pretty big fan of ELF products and this cleanser is no exception. It is a very thorough cleanser, left my skin makeup free and hydrated, not dry or tight. I don’t love the scent ( kinda baby powder-ish) but it’s not a deal breaker. And as affordable as all ELF products are you really can’t go wrong. This cleanser isn’t my fave ELF product, but it definitely gets the job done! Will likely order again.

Loving this so far
I wasnât sure about trying something new. Iâm used to a particular product. But Iâm so glad I did! Not only is the price so much better than what I usually pay for cleaners. Cleans my face without stripping, I feel refreshed, my skin is so soft afterwards. Super cute packaging and lightweight. Add this one to the list of Elf products Iâm in love with.

Gentle and effective
Has a light scent that does not set off my sensitivities. Does a good job of removing makeup and sunscreen, even waterproof makeup. Does not leave skin feeling tight that I have noticed, but then I apply my serums and treatments before my skin gets dry.

Cruelty free, affordable, results. This is my go to cleanser these days. I do not have any problem with my skin, except that it is slightly on the dry side, so I canât comment on acne or oil or anything, but I can say that my skin loves this cleanser. It doesnât strip my face either.

Bought this as a change of product and really like it. Very gentle on the skin, subtle smell and foams up nicely and you don’t have to use alot either. Also it doesnt feel drying on the skin before your moisturiser.

Ich würde am liebsten das gesamte e.l.f Sortiment kaufen, weil sie komplett vegan sind und damit sehr sympathisch.Auf meiner Haut zeigt Holy Hydration! Daily Cleanser leider nicht so unbedingt Verbesserungen bzw. er trocknet zu sehr aus, Cleanser Funktion ist daher top da sehr gründlich, aber ich brauche einfach eher Produkte, die auf besonders sensible Haut abgestimmt sind. Vielleicht habe ich einfach nicht so den passenden Hauttyp für den Cleanser, aber das kann bei anderen viel besser funktionieren. Was viele angemerkt haben: Ich fand den Duft überhaupt nicht störend, er verfliegt auch relativ schnell.Denke für ölige Gesichtstypen könnte der Cleanser was sein. Ich werde es bestimmt irgendwann versuchen, wieder ein e.l.f Produkt auszuprobieren, aber aktuell wohl noch nicht.
